5 Quotes that I live by

I’m sure we all have our life motto that inspires us in a certain way, I have a couple of quotes that have kept me going through those hard times.

1. Carpe Diem
This isn’t exactly a quote but it’s something that has inspired me daily. I believe it’s a Latina word meaning seize the day. I remember seeing this word for the first time at Aeropastle, they have a cuff bracelet with Carpe Diem engraved. I’ve been trying to live up to that quote every single day. It’s very important to treasure the day that you’re given. Not only it gives me motivation into doing somethings that I wouldn’t normally do, push me out of my comfort zone, on top of that it also makes me embrace whatever that’s given to me. I live by this quote so much that I even think of getting it tattooed on me (maybe one day). For some reason it always remind me of summer (I have no idea why) nevertheless, I don’t have a problem with that because summer is just the best time of the year!

2. “Don’t regret anything, because at that moment it was something that you want.”

I saw this on Twitter, and I think it says for itself. I truly believe this saying, there are times when you made mistakes that you wish you didn’t. Don’t regret it, it was be something that you want at the moment. It’s better than regretting that you wish you’d do.

3. Everything happens for a reason

This is also something that I’ve lived by since forever ago. It’s a quote that kept me being positive. Life isn’t always unicorns and rainbows. Things sometimes don’t turn out the way I wanted, somethings that I’ve worked hard for doesn’t give me the result that I expected. I’ve learned that it’s totally normal for a living human, and grass is always greener on the other side. So, instead of letting it weight you down; learn from it and keep on going.

4. “Jobs fill your pocket. Adventure fill your soul.” – Jaime Lyn Beatty

I remember the first time traveling with my friends when I was sixteen, during the summer. It was the most memorable trip ever! And, I’m going to keep on collecting those memories as life goes on. It’s something that I’d like to continue doing for the rest of my life. Seeing new places, learning new things and continue to discover the wonders of the world. We’re not meant to live in one place, there’s a lot more to see.

5. Be fearless in the pursuit of what sets your soul on fire

This is also a saying that kept me working hard on what I want. Go for whatever that you want, give it your all into something that you truly believes in. There are some hard times that you’ll have to face, but be fearless and go for it! Don’t leave the regrets that you wish you did it.

Lots of love,

Kim Stacey
